Agmatitic migmatite (Nagano-Tengatake migmatite) in the K-feldspar-cordierite
zone in Tsuzu. Granitic melt intruded along fracture zones formed by
non-coaxial
shear. The granitic melts could be resulted from in situ melting ?
or influx of
external melts ?
High-temperature shear zone of Gamano granodiorite at the boundary
between the garnet-cordierite zone and the sillimanite-K-feldspar zone,
Yashiro-jima Island. Many sinistral shear zones (fine-grained layer)
are observed in the coarse-grained granodiorite.
Asymmetric structures of mafic enclaves and dykes are also observed.
